mori seiki slbb communications

I am looking at an old mori seiki SL-BB. im not sure on the year, but I believe its between 1978-1980. I think the control is a Yasnac 2000b (I attached a picture of a machine that has a very similar looking control). I read somewhere that these machines had a db25 connector, but it is not for machine communications. Is this correct? Is there any external machine communications port?
